My name is Marshall Pettit, I am a Video Game Designer from Melbourne, Australia.

Growing up, video games were a key aspect of my childhood, playing from the age of 3 on my family’s PS2.

My first start into Game Dev was Modding for games and creating custom levels on games such as GMOD and Portal 2.

While in high school I also attended Chisholm and studied a CERT III in Video Game Design which embarked the start of my journey in Video Game Development. Since then I have explored multiple design avenues such as Level Design, Sound Design, UI Design and Narrative Design.

I then went on to complete an Advanced Diploma of Game Design at AIE in Melbourne. I have worked on several projects in both Unity and Unreal Engine.

After completing an Advanced Diploma of Game Design I made the decision to study a Graduate Diploma of Business Management focusing in the Games Development Industry.

  • Documentation Knowledge.

  • Scripting Languages & Tools Knowledge (C#, Unreal Blueprints, LUA, HTML).

  • Intermediate Knowledge of Unreal Engine Systems.

  • High Knowledge of Google Sheets formulas.

  • UX and UI optimization.

  • Narrative Design Experience (creating Lore, Cinematics and Easter Eggs as well as Dialogue Scenarios).
